This is the second time we’ve stayed here and it’s a great little cabin that is very convenient to the lodge and everything else at Alpine Lake. It was quite cold while we were there and the heat in this house is not sufficient for very cold temperatures. One of the bedrooms, warms up efficiently, however, the main living space and the back bedroom are not well heated by the baseboard heat. We needed to put the space heater in the back bedroom where the larger bed is so that we could sleep comfortably. I would also recommend some updates to what is available in the kitchen, most of what’s there has had a lot of heavy use. There was great communication from the host, and we really appreciated that.
