Santiago de Compostela, 15–18 minutes away, offers a historic center, the Mercado de Abastos, and fine dining. A 10-minute walk away is a municipal outdoor swimming pool. The O Xirimbao suspension bridge, Pontevea by the Ulla River, and Ponte Maceira are nearby excursions, and the Rías Baixas are about 45 minutes away.
