„4 night stay April 2026 (Sunday to Thursday) - accommodation very clean, comfortable and modern, hosts very welcoming - location peaceful (a few sheep and horses over the fence at the bottom of the garden, but no noise) and nice dark skies (I saw a few Lyrid meteors during my stay!). Great kitchen facilities (so you can easily self-cater if you want) and excellent shower, better accommodation than a hotel if visiting the area IMHO. Well located, Hastings, Rye & Great Dixter all a quick drive ...

„Beautiful accommodation, with lovely vaulted ceiling making it bright and airy High quality finishes all round Kitchen has everything you need and a bottle of milk waiting in the fridge was a lovely touch Tea bags, coffee pods, crisps and biscuits also provided Bed was comfortable and high quality bedding Lovely big fluffy towels and M&S toiletries provided. It was so quiet at night meaning a great night sleep A lovely stay and would recommend a trip to Caster sands and Rye center“

„We loved everything about our stay in Mafeking. The house, the garden and Benenden are all beautiful. Mafeking is a great choice for familys, there are plenty of toys and a lovely playground nearby. We extended our stay because we loved it that much and had a very friendly and accommodating experience with the costumer service. „A wonderful 4 nights spent at Romden farm, couldnt have been bette. It was great, just to open the back door and walk for miles with the dogs, come back chill out and relax in the hot tub in the evenings. At the big pond we enjoyed feeding the fish and watching the barn owl hunt at dusk. The barn was clean, comfortable and the perfect place to get away from everything. The owners made us feel so welcome we will definitley be back in the future.“

"Das Hotel ist super gut gelegen und ist ideal für einen Zwischenstopp auf der Durchreise zum Flughafen Stansted. Das Zummer mit 2 Doppelbetten war groß genug für uns 3 Erwachsene. Das WLAN funktioniert gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet eine super Auswahl an warmen und kalten Speisen."

"The hotel rooms and bathrooms are newly renovated. Very clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant area is great with an indoor seating and also a large outdoor patio and seating area - wonderful in the summer. Good food. Very dog friendly. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is easy to get to by car and has a car park or you can get here by local bus 502 from Ashford train station. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"We had a lovely stay in hythe . Sorry to say that we would have liked to drink a coffee at 8.00 in the morning. We were told that we had To buy breakfast or wait till the bar opened so we could just gave coffee. We didn’t want to eat breakfast has we were going to have a celebration lunch at 12.00. Were were told they would only serve us coffee if we had breakfast and to pay 40 pounds for just two coffees would have been a little to expensive. We had had Sunday lunch the day before with a bottle of champagne, a bottle of red wine and 6 meals . Today we could not get a coffee!!! In the morning. We stayed two nights and on the second morning we didn’t even consider having breakfast, we walked on the beach front and found a little coffee shack who were more than welcome to serve us coffee at 8.00 in the morning."
