„This ryokan is the best location in Matsumoto! Along with being beautiful and super clean, you literally walk out the front door and you’re on an idyllic street with restaurants and shops. It’s also walkable from the train station, and a short walk to the castle. If you’re looking for a traditional ryokan, this is it! The host also speaks great English and is very helpful if you need anything. “

The hotel is very near the statin, so good access to convenience stores and places to eat. The general area is not very aesthetic, but it is just a short walk to more visually pleasing parts of the city.“
