„We loved our stay at the onsen hotel. It was a great way to see the more quiet side of Kyoto. The hosts were amazing and friendly, they even helped us to get a taxi after checking out. The food was delicious. Everything was prepared fresh every morning and evening and there was a variety of foods to choose from. We definitely will be back next time visiting Kyoto.“

„I loved everything about the Moksa Hotel! The accommodation is a bit out of the way, but still easy to reach by subway and bus. The hotel is located at the foot of a mountain with a forest and a river, and is very quiet! The staff was great, the rooms were stunningly beautiful, and the spa, which you could book as an additional option, was a dream. The garden is definitely the highlight. Drinks at the bar and in the room are free. If you don't want to book dinner, you can also order delivery. ...

„とてもユニークな部屋に泊まれて嬉しかったです。部屋はとても清潔で、ホストはとても面白くてフレンドリーでした。近くにバスがあるのでとても便利です。 It was a pleasure to stay in such a unique room. The room was very clean and the host was very interesting and friendly. There is a bus nearby, which is very convenient. 很高興能入住這麼有特色的房間，房間也很乾淨，主人也非常的有趣和友善。附近就有公車可以搭乘，非常的方便。“

„Von außen ist die Unterkunft nicht einladend aber innen erwartet einen ein zwar in die Jahre gekommendes aber trotzdem gutes Hotel mit tollen Onsen Bädern. Die Verpflegung und der Service waren gut.“

„We had 3 fantastic stays at the Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. Very service minded staff that took good care of us from arriving to checkout. Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. We will stay here again when we visit Kyoto. “

„Brilliant location and close to the top spots we went to see. Quiet neighborhood by the river. Suite was large and luxurious. Lovely bouquet, complimentary wine, and confectionary on arrival. The kitchen was well equipped, with a microwave too. Washer dryer in Japanese language, but staff helped us. Easy! Concierge services were also exceptional. Excellent Michelin star restaurant reservation on the same day.“

„After Tokyo, we basked in the generously sized rooms here. It’s worth it to pay a bit extra for the premium rooms. The extra space is amazing. The location was very convenient for us. You can walk to the Gion district, shopping, the river, bars and restaurants. “

„Highly recommended. The staff was attentive to every small detail and was super helpful with suggestions for my trip and reservations for amazing dining in the area. I am usually very picky about hotels and do not have a single complaint. Breakfast was also top quality and the spa is amazing. 10 out of 10“

"Traum unterkunft, nur zu empfehlen! Geräumige Zimmer, überragend guter SPA Bereich mit verschiedener Onsen Becken, Sauna & kostenlosen Erfrischungen wie Eis. Große Auswahl beim Frühstück inkl. Sashimi, Abendessen wird war zwar nicht direkt angeboten, ab 21 Uhr gibt es allerdings bis 1 Uhr Nachts late Night Ramen. Es hat auch eine super Lage um die Staft zu Erkunden, im nahen Umkreis gibt es aucj viele Restaurants. Nur zu empfehlen, wir haben unseren Aufenthalt 2 Tage verlängert weil es schön war & kommen definitiv wieder! Vielen Dank an dad Onyado Team, es war ein Traum Aufenthalt! "

"Klassisches hochwertiges Hotel alter Schule. Etwas älter aber sehr gut gepflegt mit hochwertiger Einrichtung. Etwas außerhalb aber sehr gut per U-Bahn zu erreichen. Kann ich wärmstens empfehlen!"

"The Hotel lies in a residental Area. But every 20 Minutes is a shuttle bus between a central underground Station an the hotel. Bus stops (local City bus) for Ginkakuchi and Kinkakuchi Temple are a short walk away. The Staff in the hotel is very polite and the front desk staff speaks really good englisch. The hotel rooms are spacious and give you a touch of luxury. Every day you can decide how you would like to have your room cleansed. In this Hotel you can feel and see the japanese art of Omotenashi (highest art of hospitality)."
