„Brilliant location and close to the top spots we went to see. Quiet neighborhood by the river. Suite was large and luxurious. Lovely bouquet, complimentary wine, and confectionary on arrival. The kitchen was well equipped, with a microwave too. Washer dryer in Japanese language, but staff helped us. Easy! Concierge services were also exceptional. Excellent Michelin star restaurant reservation on the same day.“

„We had 3 fantastic stays at the Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. Very service minded staff that took good care of us from arriving to checkout. Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. We will stay here again when we visit Kyoto. “

„L'architettura del ryokan è bellissima, di legno e bambù all'antica. Spaziose le camere, perfetti i bagni. La pulizia impeccabile. Il personale è dedito e gentilissimo. La decorazione zen e particolarmente elegante crea una atmosfera particolare. Era quello che cercavo e che volevo vivere.“

„I stayed here with a group of friends wile visiting Japan for my birthday and this was one of my favorite places! The staff is incredible and the space felt like a home. We were all able to comfortably sleep and unwind in the space in between our adventures. They offer hot tea and sake along with toiletries downstairs. I will definitely keep this place on my list for when I return to Kyoto! “

„Eine schöne, saubere und praktische Unterkunft. Wir hatten leider ein Zimmer direkt neben der Dusche. Da es vpm Management erlaubt ist von 6-24 Uhr zu duschen war es entsprechend laut zu Schlafenszeiten. Ansosnten aber eine schöne Unterkunft, welche auch Fahrräder vermietet.“

„Top Hotel - zum top Preis! Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehmen. Bushaltestelle in wenigen Minuten ist zu erreichen. Im Gasthaus gibt es die Küche und Waschmaschine zur gemeinsamer Nutzung. Es war sehr bequem und gemütlich. Der Frühstück war sehr einfach. “

„Ein typisches altes japanisches Haus mit tollem Flair. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, täglich frisches Wasser und Handtücher. Wir haben uns zu sechst sehr wohl gefühlt, die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hat auch sehr gut geklappt. Die Strasse war beim ersten Mal nicht ganz einfach zu finden, auch der Taxifahrer hat sich schwer getan. Ich kann die Unterkunft für eine größere Gruppe/ Familie aber nur weiterempfehlen! “

„the inn was an amazing way to add a quiet authenticity to our visit to kyoto. so peaceful. the architecture and artifacts of the building’s history continued to amaze over our 4 night stay. Ms Tano’s breakfast was one of the best meals of our trip!“

The hotel is right next to the subway station so going around Kyoto is easy. The room was quite spacious and modern and the bathroom was the best on the whole trip.“
