Welcome to Villa Sol y Mar, a charming and comfortable retreat just two miles from the beach. This inviting two-bedroom, two-bathroom villa accommodates up to six guests, offering a relaxing space for your coastal getaway. The master bedroom features a king bed and a 40” smart TV with Android TV, Netflix, and YouTube access, while the second bedroom has two twin beds (these can be pushed together to make a king bed). The living room also has a 40” smart TV, where you can stream your favorite shows using your own app logins. It also has a futon that sleeps an additional two guests.

Each room is equipped with individual air conditioning, ensuring personalized comfort throughout your stay. The fully equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator with an ice dispenser, microwave, oven, blender, stove, and a drip coffee maker—perfect for preparing meals and enjoying quality time together. For added convenience, a washer and dryer are also available in the home.

Outside, you’ll find a cozy seating area with two chairs and a loveseat near the main entrance, plus a patio with a table for four. The villa is part of a condominium community with shared amenities, including a refreshing pool, a BBQ area, and a rancho with ample seating for gatherings. The pool and rancho lights are located near the bathroom entrance, and the pool is open daily from 8 AM to 9 PM.

With its prime location near the beach and access to great amenities, Villa Sol y Mar is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a peaceful getaway.

Potrero divides into two main areas. From the Flamingo area in the south, you`ll enter a neighborhood (small residential development) called Surfside. It runs from the beach just inland. Following your way, you`ll get to Potrero Bay. You can find many fabulous restaurants, stores, the Costa Rica Sailing Center, and even breweries. The new Marina in Flamingo is minutes away. To the north, you will encounter Potrero`s local town, which is similar to all of Costa Rica`s traditional beach towns: a soccer field, school, church, smaller homes, sodas (local restaurants), and a few essential grocery stores (pulperías). The town is near beaches Playa Penca and Playa Prieta, and further north you will find the enchanting Las Catalinas Town, which has access to astonishing beaches like Playa Danta and Dantita.

- We have a no-tolerance rule about parties and loud noise, so please be aware that complaints from neighbors, notifications from authorities, notifications from our noise monitoring software, or any other proof of disruptive behavior or loud noise between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM will result in fines of up to $1000.00, possible eviction and / or possible legal action if authorities are involved.
*Important* If you are a Costa Rica resident booking with a local credit card, you will get charged IVA from your bank automatically aside from the AirBNB tax and will need to handle this directly with your bank. This is a separate localized fee that is done automatically outside of AirBNB.
-Traveling with little ones? We have a pack-n-play available on a first come, first served basis for $10/night. To ensure availability and have the pack-n-play set up and ready for your arrival, please let us know in advance if you`d like to rent it.

Guest Agreement: By proceeding with this booking, the guest acknowledges and accepts that the total cost includes a mandatory, non-refundable Transaction Fee and a Damage Waiver Fee. The guest agrees that these fees are fully earned upon the commencement of the rental period and are strictly non-refundable after the stay has concluded, regardless of any post-stay claims or disputes.
