The open plan living area that flows out onto the outdoor dining and BBQ area is perfect for those al fresco meals in the evening sun.

In the summertime, watch the kids play safely within the gated area, swim or fish in the river or take advantage of the kayaks available with easy cycle access to `Craters to the Moon` cycle tracks and the river cycleway which is straight out the front gate.

Walk down the path and onto the riverfront walkway and head down to Spa Park, Huka Falls, or into town - just an 8 minute walk to town. Although you`ll feel tucked away, you`re just a 5 minute drive to Taupo Central, so you`ll be able to indulge in a delicious meal at one of the many local hotspots. Or take in more of the outstanding Taupo scenery at Huka Falls and Huka Jet, two iconic Taupo attractions both within a 2-minute drive. Also nearby is the golf driving range, Wairekei Golf Course, the Prawn Park, High Ropes Course, The Honey Hive and The Hub Café.

* Maximum number of guests on the booking to stay at the property. If you would like extra guests to visit, for example nan and grandad, that reside in Taupo, for Christmas dinner just let us know.
