„We needed somewhere to stay with our dog and this limits your choices. However, the Golden Fleece was very clean, good supply of refreshments in the room, shower was powerful and hot water plentiful. They even supplied a fan to cool the room, although it wasn't great, it shows a level of care and consideration for guests and was appreciated. The owners we met were friendly and I would definitely consider staying again if we visit the area again.
Only negative is they need to remove the cobwebs ...

Der Bauernhof ist 400 Jahre alt, dementsprechend sind die Räumlichkeiten, es gibt einen wunderschönen Empfangsraum mit riesigem Kamin.“
„Very nice old inn hotel. Nicely renovated and providing all modern facilties. Excellent restaurant, both dinner and breakfast were fantastic. Very friendly staff. On arrival the room for the three of us was not available due to a technical issue and they gave us two fourposter rooms. Short drive to the Jurassic Coast and also nice small village to take a short walk after dinner or in the morning.“
„Easy check in, nice guy behind the bar and the room was very clean. It was just a bit dated, but the pub obviously is full of history, so maybe the room suits the surroundings.“
„Lovely stay within walking distance to the beach and the bus stop. The bed was really comfortable and despite the heatwave, the room was quite cool - I appreciated that very much. The hotel clearly cares about their guests as I heard one employee asking another if all the rooms were stocked with water and they refilled my and others’ water bottles with cold water.“
