„Die Unterkunft liegt wunderschön an einem Hang und gleich neben dem Wildlife Park. Überall blühen Blumen und am schaut im ein wunderschönes Tal. Die Hütte hat alles was man braucht und in der Nähe gibt es einen Supermarkt sowie mehrere Cafés. Eine Reception gibt es nicht, doch daß einchecken ist Kinderleicht da am Haus ein Briefkasten ist in dem man alle notwendigen Informationen findet. Super Aufenthalt 😊.“

„accommodation was perfectly set up for our 8 night stay. Check-in instructions simple to follow. Close to CBD and well stocked grocery store in nearby Hill St for provisions. Some great cafes in close proximity. The house is well maintained with modern facilities. Highly recommend this accommodation. “

„We absolutely would recommend "The Lodge" as your base while visting Stanley.The lodge was beautifully decorated with a quirkiness which we loved.The sunroom with its big windows framed our water views.The viewing platform for seeing the penguins at dusk was just a quick 5 minute stroll from "The Lodge" and we were able to walk around most of the quaint town and explore all its eateries and shops.“

„Very comfortable and warm. Double glazed windows on the main road side of property. Clean and crisp decor. Bit of damage to furniture and limited seating in loungeroom with a 3 seater and single for a home that can accomodate larger numbers. Needs either gas hot water or larger HW cylinder as 1 shower and hot water was out. Inconvenient if you had 6 adults staying there. “

„We had a great stay home away from home. Beds were very comfortable and the house was very warm and cosy. It was very pet friendly.A lovely place to explore around the East Coast and the neighbourhood was lovely and quiet Thankyou John“

„Lovely property, very clean with fantastic views over Oyster Bay from most of the rooms. Walking distance to town. Open fire was cosy (we visited in June) backed up up by the split system that provided enough warmth. Entry is a bit difficult to find as google sends you around the corner & as others have noted not a property for those with major mobility issues due to steps/steep driveway.“

„Good stay fantastic location. My only negative comment is the house needs a new vacuum, with sand and dirt from beach trips you need a decent vacuum to keep the place clean and tidy. “

„Smooth and easy check in.The house itself is a wonderful experience, like jumping back in time (a great source of story telling for children) but still having all the modern nicety.The proximity to North Hobart, the CBD and otger Tasmanian adventures was absolutely priceless.“

"Generell ein mittelmäßiges Hotel. Die Zimmer sind standardmäßig und sauber. Leider gab es Probleme mit dem Safe und das Personal war nicht in der Lage dieses, innerhalb von 5 Tagen zu lösen. Erfüllt seinen Zweck aber ist jetzt nicht besonders hervorzuheben. Die Kissen sind sehr hart. "

"Ich habe zwei Nächte hier verbracht. Die Rückgabe-Station und die Bushaltestelle für den Transfer zum Flughafen waren direkt um die Ecke, was perfekt war. Vom Hotel aus kann man Hobart sehr gut zu Fuß erkunden. Das Zimmer war insgesamt in Ordnung, aber nichts besonderes. Besonders war allerdings, dass es zur Zimmerbuchung eine Flasche Wein gab, der sehr gut schmeckte."
