The night skies are amazing with all the stars shining. We caught some rain which was perfect to watch from the wrap around porch. Only thing I’ll add is the cabin needed a full size refrigerator because I took frozen foods and they only provided a small size fridge.“

„Our trip was very relaxing. The views were beautiful. It rained a lot but there were plenty of games and puzzles. The younger generation were amazed by the old phones. This is a beautiful little town and home. “

„Even though we’re from Texas and thought we knew the hill country area, we were amazed at the views all around us. The area is serene and beautiful. We felt like we got away from all the hustle and bustle while we were here. The house is comfy and feels like you’re all alone out in the hills, which is just what we wanted. Brent was a great host and replied promptly. Thank you for hosting us!“

„This is the perfect cabin for a quiet getaway to nature. Plentiful wildlife to watch from the back porch including deer and turkey. Host was superb and took me on a tour of the property so I could enjoy hiking on the property. It is also conveniently located to Lost Maples and Garner State Parks. “

„This was my second time staying here, and it was absolutely perfect again. It is an incredible vintage time capsule but with 21st century HVAC and wifi. I spent half my stay sharing photos of all the fun and fascinating ranch house design elements and decor. Highly recommend this property for relaxation, bird watching, and peace and quiet.“

Nice and quiet, set far enough off the road to feel secluded, but a very short drive to Lost Maples SP. Clean and had plenty of gear for cooking. Would definitely come back!“

„My family had a great trip in Concan near the Frio River for a one week stay in June! We range in ages from 4 to 84 years old. The house was amazing and perfect for our large family to spread out when needed but to also come together for dinners and games. We had plenty of beds (which were super comfortable), and the main living area had plenty of seating for all 16 of us with room to spare.
