The Space:

Rancho Alegre is a home that truly surprises guests when they arrive. Its generous proportions, high ceilings, beautiful timber finishes and open hacienda-style architecture feel even more impressive in person.



The layout is particularly well suited to extended families, couples travelling together and multigenerational groups. Bedrooms are distributed across separate areas of the home, providing exceptional privacy and separation. Guests can retreat to their own suite or balcony without hearing activity elsewhere in the house.



At the heart of the home is a large, fully equipped kitchen with ample preparation and serving space—ideal for entertaining, shared family meals or evenings with a private chef. The kitchen opens naturally into the spacious living areas and shaded terraces overlooking the pool and surrounding greenery.

Rancho Alegre offers six bedrooms and accommodates up to 18 guests:



• Primary Suite: King bed and private ensuite bathroom

• Bedroom 2: King bed and private ensuite bathroom

• Bedroom 3: Two bunk beds, each with a king bed below and queen bed above, plus a private ensuite bathroom

• Bedroom 4: King bed and private ensuite bathroom

• Bedroom 5: King bed and private ensuite bathroom

• Bedroom 6: Sofa bed and private ensuite bathroom



The bedrooms include individual air-conditioning, blackout blinds and access to private or adjoining outdoor spaces. Several suites feature private balconies with hammocks—the perfect place for a quiet afternoon siesta.

Daily housekeeping is included, allowing you to enjoy the home without worrying about everyday cleaning. Our team will coordinate a schedule that works comfortably around your group.

Guest Access:

Guests have private access to the entire home, swimming pool, outdoor bar and BBQ area, rooftop terrace, balconies and surrounding grounds.



The Neighborhood:

Rancho Alegre is located within Hacienda Pinilla, an exclusive gated beachfront community encompassing approximately 4,500 acres of ranchland, tropical forest and coastline.



The home enjoys a particularly private setting near the second hole of the Hacienda Pinilla golf course, surrounded by expansive greenery and abundant wildlife. Although the setting feels peaceful and secluded, the beaches, Beach Club and resort amenities are only a short drive or golf-cart ride away.



Guests can explore three miles of coastline, including:



• Playa Avellanas—home to the Hacienda Pinilla Beach Club and several celebrated surf breaks

• Playa Mansita—a protected sandy bay with tide pools and snorkeling at low tide

• Playa Langosta—a quieter beach known for surfing, fishing and shaded beachfront palapas



HACIENDA PINILLA BEACH CLUB



Rancho Alegre has a corporate membership providing guests access to the Hacienda Pinilla Beach Club at Playa Avellanas.



The Beach Club features an oceanfront infinity pool, restaurant, poolside bar, fitness center, wellness facilities and direct beach access. Guest admission is currently $5 per person, paid once per day for guests aged 12 and older.



Please note that the Beach Club is typically closed for annual maintenance during October.



RESORT ACTIVITIES



Activities available within Hacienda Pinilla include:

Other Things to Note:

Rancho Alegre includes a professionally installed MistAway mosquito-control system. The system releases a very fine mist of botanical insecticide around the exterior at scheduled intervals to help reduce mosquitoes and other insects.
