„Perfect location for exploring Takachiho & surroundings (we did Yufuin on the way in, then Kumamoto on the way back to Fukuoka). The home was the perfect size for our group of 6 (3 adults, 3 older teens), gave us space & full kitchen dining room. Our host assisted with dinner reservations (although in early June, probably not necessary). We were lucky with weather and visited the gorge on a sunny day but also drove in on a foggy, rainy day which made the mountain scenery super moody and both ...

„Situated in a scenic location with an unbelievable view over the surrounding mountains including mt Yufu. Very steep road up and easy to miss off the main road. Parking lot is good and was never crowded. Room was very spacious with 3 private onsens, though you’d only be using the outside ones purely for the surrounding views and sounds of nature! “

„I felt very uncomfortable from the beginning to the end. The room was stinky, and the smell didn't go away despite I used the AC and I left the window opened. The tatami was dirt and in general the clean conditions were terrible. I was happy I stayed in this structure only one night. I don't recommend this place.“

„Such a wonderful stay, would love to come back in fall.“
