„Das Zimmer oder besser gesagt die Wohnung war super. Wohnzimmer mit Küche, Schlafzimmer und Bad. Alles war in sehr gutem Zustand und sauber. Der Empfang war super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist das Bett. Für einen Einzelschläfer absolut OK, aber für ein Paar viel zu schmal. Da ist soviel Platz in dem Raum, da passt locker auch ein 2-m-Bett rein.“

„We had a blast up in Paradise. The Black Pearl is centrally located to ORV Trails, Tahquamenon Falls, White Fish Point, Crisp Point and various other adventures. It was nice to arrive to a clean and neat place that provided all the amenities you may need. The BP also had a fire pit with chairs for those s’mores. „I love the design of this unique space! I had one small issue get a faucet on and the owner was easy to reach and came right out and fixed it. I would definitely book this space again. I booked through Expedia, which created a problem with communications (VRBO told me I had details of my reservation, but when I tried to retrieve them, they weren't there). I had to chat with VRBO staff to get it straightened out. “

„This was a wonderful place in an isolated area yet really central to the falls and other great places to visit in the eastern UP. It was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. It was easy to contact someone with questions and they responded quickly. And as a special treat, there was a Whip-poor-will on the deck the first night we were there. We will definitely stay here again next time we're in the UP“

„Black Pearl has to be the best spot to stay in Paradise! It’s unassuming from the outside, but cozy and filled with everything you need on the inside! Fully equipped up-to-date kitchen, open to living area with comfy couch, tv, warm electric fireplace/heater and kitchen table. Separate bedroom also has an electric fireplace/heater with comfy bed. „Had a great time staying in august. No flies, weather was perfect the whole week, and hour or less drive to tons of things to see and do. House was great with Lake Superior just out the back. Highly recommend if planning a vacation to the UP.“

„Place was very clean, had everything anyone could want or need! Communication A+++! Took 2 side by sides and parked in garage at night. Only downfall is to be legal you have to trailer wheelers 2 miles down road to trail head. Was not a big deal to us. If on snowmobiles this would not be the case. Super place with super hosts!!“
