„We enjoyed our stay. The location is fabulous. The beach is at your doorstep and the views are breath taking. I stayed in the same room over 30 years ago. It’s nice because you can have your pet with you. Staff at the the front desk a friendly. The breakfast is basic and fills you up for the morning adventures. There are some good restaurants within walking distance so lots of options. We will definitly be back! “

„This was the best hotel I've stayed in for years. It had a kitchen, which is high on my list. it had plenty of room to walk at the end of the bed and the dresser. there was a fireplace, and the view was incredible. “

„Seems like all the rooms have ocean views and the views are excellent. Picnic tables and grassy area to relax on cliffside so you can enjoy the beach views without going down to the beach. Beach access on the property two flights of stairs the first has many steps and is quite steep. The beach was very clean, quiet and not very populated. Our room was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay again in the future!“

„Shearwater has been our “go to” spot for years. Over that time, we have noticed that there are more and more little things that need attention. For example, coat hangers on the wall that are very loose, loose shower handle (feels like it’s going to come off), squeaky bathroom door, etc. They are little things, but for the price per night we paid, I would expect more attention to the small things. Still a wonderful place to stay and we love having our sliding door open to listen to the ocean. “

„This was a great place for me to spend the weekend with my college sons and their friends. We enjoyed the beach right outside and plenty of room to gather around the big dining table for meals and games. We would recommend more blankets. There were lots of pillows and only 2 extra blankets. “
