For the price the experience achieved everything I required. Arrived super late 11:30pm check in. Called ahead. Reception lady was nice and accommodating. Microwave, kitchenette, fridge is good enough. Bed was squeaky but I adjusted accordingly and it was fine for me. Doesn’t bother me that much but it could affect someone else. Visible wear and tear in the room but expected for the price. No damage that was prohibiting me from what I needed to do. Everything worked room was clean. Shower: don’t expect super hot water but luke warm. Good enough for me. Late night there was 3 or so “rough” people out in the surrounding parking lot but they kept to themselves and I did not feel at all in danger. Even acknowledged one of them to show I was aware of them. They responded with a “hello”. nothing abnormal. Night time the Hotel is very well lit even with flood lights. The type of lights that would discourage bad behaviour (I worked in security before. Not your average lights) because it makes everything highly visible the entire property. Each room has heavy weight drapes on the window so the big lights didnt affect my sleep. Didn’t hear anything during the night. Walls are thin so I could hear my neighbours if they walked around. Nonetheless during my stay it was nice and quiet. Didn’t hear anything at all.
I stayed for a work conference so I stayed in the room for limited time and was mostly out. This hotel was cheaper than any hotel I looked at within 20min drive online.
