Horrible Scam - Poorly Maintained and Needs Repair
This flat is uninhabitable and needs major repair. Management will lie to give false hope of repairs, ask for photos to delay, and then no one will show up to even inspect the issues. Each day revealed new issues. Instead of being patient, I should have just left and avoided the mounting headaches that ruined my trip. Looking back I feel scammed. They led me on so I would continue staying and they’d get paid.
UNUSABLE SHOWER - The shower flooring had peeled, exposing the underlying concrete. The shower drain was clogged and the pan would overfill. It did not seem safe or viable to take a shower. The wood flooring in the bathroom also had water damage and mold so it seems to be an old issue.
CEILING WATER LEAK - The kitchen ceiling would leak after the shower was turned on - explains the flat’s moldy smell.
NO WIFI DESPITE ADVERTISED - Upon arrival, the router was already malfunctioning and blinking red. Neither myself nor the manager could connect. No efforts were made to fix despite my daily follow ups. Also, the downstairs has no cell signal (I have Verizon/Vodafone), so I couldn’t use my phone as a hotspot. I had one bar of signal upstairs near one window but this only allowed sending/receiving messages.
ANT PROBLEM - present upon arrival and continued throughout stay.
DIRTY & RUNDOWN - Tidy but not clean upon arrival (maybe cleaned a long time beforehand?). Dusty throughout with black dust on surfaces, dead plants, dead bugs, chair stains, ripped sofa covers.
