The River Tawe runs through the heart of the town, offering plenty of opportunities for gentle riverside walks, nature spotting and stone skimming. Steeped in history, from the cottage you can walk in beautiful countryside to the Diamond Mine Heritage Park. Further afield, discover the southern Brecon Beacons, with the National Show Caves, Craig Y Nos Country Park and Henrhyd Falls showcasing the diverse landscapes within 6 miles of the property. The city of Swansea is just 15 miles away, where you can enjoy shopping or visit the city’s castle and National Waterfront Museum. Alternatively, spend the day on the golden sand at Aberavon Beach or Swansea Beach, or try surfing at Caswell Bay Beach, all within 20 miles.

    Enter this beautiful property, set over two levels, via the rear door reached along a garden path from the parking area. Step inside to find an attractive downstairs open-plan living, kitchen and dining area with original exposed wooden ceiling beams, making an ideal setting for unwinding after a day exploring. The bespoke kitchen area is made from reclaimed materials and brings a rustic feel to the setting. Cook up a storm with all the contemporary appliances you need to make meal preparation a breeze. An inviting wooden dining table is set in front of a pretty wooden dresser, next to sliding doors overlooking the garden, and is the perfect setting to gather for memorable meals. After dinner, head through to the cosy sitting area and sink into the plush leather chairs placed in front of a striking stone fireplace that houses a wood burner. Pop on a log for some crackle and pop on chilly evenings, creating a relaxing ambience to enjoy chatting or catching up on your favourite box set on the Smart TV. Completing the downstairs features is a shower room with a WC. Head upstairs and you’ll find a stylish bathroom boasting a traditional claw-foot bath with a shower over and WC.
