"A traditional hotel with a very special charm in the heart of Swakopmund. From the very first moment, the Hansa Hotel has an atmosphere that feels like stepping into another era. Of course, in some areas you can see the long history of the hotel and a certain patina, but for us this is also part of its unique character. Anyone expecting a modern design hotel may not find exactly what they are looking for here. However, those who appreciate tradition, tranquillity and a relaxed atmosphere can feel very comfortable at the Hansa. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast. The beautiful, classic breakfast room has a wonderful atmosphere, the selection was good, and we were able to get everything we wanted. The staff throughout our stay were also exceptionally friendly, attentive and helpful. We also appreciated the secure parking in the hotel courtyard. The central location is excellent: many restaurants, shops and the ocean are within easy walking distance, so there is no need to use the car in the evening. We experienced our days at the Hansa as pleasant, peaceful and completely stress-free, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. A traditional hotel with history and personality – and for us, a lovely place to stay in Swakopmund."

"Gute und zentrale Lage. Sehr freundliches Personal, gute Parkmöglichkeit bei der man allerdings sein Gepäck selbst eine lange Treppe rauftragen muss. Frühstück sehr gut, wenn auch der Frühstücksraum sehr kühl und zugig ist. Die Zimmer sind gut, teilweise kleine Abnutzungserscheinungen."

"Sauberes modernes Zimmer mit seitlichem Meerblick im 3. Stock, hilfsbereite Martina an der Rezeption die einem bei jeglichen Fragen zur Seite steht. Es gibt ein tolles Angebot an Touren welche bequem übers Haus gebucht werden können. Das Auto steht sicher in einer Garage und das Frühstück stärkt für den Tag an der Küste. Der Sonnenuntergang kann auf der Dachterasse genossen werden."
