„Good location, parking was plentiful and appeared safe. Hotel room was clean as were the linens and towels however our room was above the bar and you could hear people chatting downstairs. The shower was small but functional, although the shower door was broken. Corridors to the rooms were tired and needed some tlc. Unfortunately we had to leave early so couldn't enjoy breakfast to it's fullest but the buffet bit was well stocked although some pastries would have been welcome as we couldn't ...

„The property was very dated, with a need of a deep clean and decor update. Carpets were stained and our particular room had a unpleasent smell. Overall the property has seen better days, I guess this is reflected in a lower than average room price for the area. Staff however were very friendly and although we did not eat a main meal, the portions looked generous and other guests appeared content. Suggest read the available reviews and make you own decision.“

„Room was great, clean, spacious and very comfortable. Lovely quality toiletries and excellent to have a coffee machine. Parking was close to the room, and it was really helpful to have the little verandah overhang as it was running as we left! Only issue was lack of signage from the main road“

Stayed in many of the rooms, ate, drank, was merry, and also shared the disappointment of an English World Cup semi final in their beer garden. „The grounds and pool were absolutely amazing, we even used the boat on the lake. Gardens and grounds beautifully maintained so pretty just to walk around. We had a lovely relaxing time.“
