Historic Charm & Luxury Await at the Signature LaTour Suite

Surround yourself with the history and timeless charm of the LaTour House in our signature master suite, The LaTour Suite, a beautiful first-floor accommodation honoring the home's namesake, Etienne Alexis Grasset LaTour. Born in Bergerac, France, in 1808, LaTour arrived in Louisiana in 1830 and settled in the area of present-day Ville Platte in 1833. He and his wife, Catherine, made this historic home their own, raising their eight children here and leaving an enduring mark on the story of the house.

Today, the LaTour Suite offers guests the opportunity to experience a piece of history while enjoying modern comforts. The suite features a luxurious king-size bed, a private bathroom with a striking copper soaking tub and spacious glass-enclosed walk-in shower, and a large work desk.

Guests also enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi, a television, and a homemade breakfast prepared especially for our overnight guests.

Guests have private access to their reserved suite and en suite bathroom, as well as shared access to the beautiful grounds of BeauBassin Farm & Gardens. We invite you to stroll through the gardens, relax on the porches, enjoy the outdoor seating areas, and take in the peaceful beauty of our historic property.

Guests also have access to a shared living area featuring comfortable seating and a television, as well as a shared breakfast kitchen where daily homemade breakfast is served.

BeauBassin Farm & Gardens is not only a bed & breakfast, but also a private event venue. During your stay, there may be other gatherings taking place elsewhere on the property. While our guest suites are designed to provide a comfortable and relaxing experience, we encourage guests to inquire about our event calendar prior to booking if they have concerns about activity levels during their stay.

Additionally, BeauBassin Farm & Gardens is a popular destination for professional photography sessions. Photographers and their clients may be utilizing the gardens and grounds for scheduled photo shoots during your visit.
