„I Had planned a wonderful hiking trip with two of my friends. Unfortunately I had an injury shortly before the trip and was unable to hike. We enjoyed the Roxbury at Stratton falls to the fullest. The staff was nothing less than a accommodating and friendly. They gave us tips on things to do and told us places to visit such as the rail trail Express and the world's largest Kaleidoscope. „The Lake Front Hotel has free parking (important in Cooperstown in summer) and a good location - walking distance to Main Street restaurants and the Baseball Hall of Fame. The room had the best hotel shower in recent memory. Good flow, ample force, and good water temperature. Lack of a refrigerator in the room was a drawback.“

„The rooms are very modern and clean. Location is perfect, walking distance to Main St. and all of downtown as well as the HOF Museum. Nice lobby amenities for snacks and breakfast. The lady at the front desk was very kind, super friendly and did her best to figure out our Roku TV that we couldn’t get to connect to any live shows for news or sports. The Roku channels were just replaying outdated repeats of prior broadcasts. Other than that, highly recommend to stay here. “

„This B&B was one of the highlights of our trip to Cooperstown. Not only was the historical building gorgeous and beautifully (painstakingly!) restored, but the entire staff was warm and welcoming. The breakfast was DELICIOUS (thanks, Chef!), the in room amenities were top quality, and the room itself was cozy and quiet. It’s walkable to the Baseball HOF and other Main Street attractions. We cannot wait to come back! Highly recommend! “

„I had a room in the main house, built in the 1860s and loved it. They tried to keep some of the old world charm in the room with a huge tall queen size bed with a big pile of pillows, original cast iron radiator and even the slightly squeaky wood floors under the carpet. If you love old houses like i do, you'll love the old timey atmosphere. With mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave in the room you also had your modern touches. It was clean and staff was very friendly and accommodating. “
