„We absolutely loved our stay at Fernweh! The quiet, seclusion and peacefulness was just what we needed. „The property is ideally situated near the water fall - it is literally in the back yard to view. To hike to get a better look , you are short walk away from it and the scenic trails—once we parked, we didn’t feel the need to leave. It’s incredibly peaceful and serene, making it the perfect escape for a quiet weekend getaway. You can shop for groceries at the little downtown store or go to Fort Payne-if you need more variety. „This property stands out for many reasons. The views are stunning, the house is unique in architecture, immaculately clean, and well stocked. The hosts are next door and responsive to any needs. And the hot tub! We enjoyed scenic drives, short hikes in the state park, unique shopping, and excellent restaurants. A wonderful getaway.“

„This property was absolutely beautiful. This was an adventure stay for my wife and I as we explored nearby caves, hiking trails and waterfalls. It was so nice to relax at the end of a long day on the deck just enjoying the peace and quiet of nature along the lake. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sunrise enjoying our coffee and watching the geese swim along in the lake. We will definitely book this location on our next trip to Mentone!“

„this is out 5th time booking this place and besides the always reasonable price, the remodeled cabin is the highlight. The isolation of the rental is idea for privacy .the communication with the rental owners really make things very easy , they are not robots , they genuinely care about you being comfortable. You can even speak to them before booking if you have questions. This time , we spent a lot of time around the fire pit outback , and it was extremely nice“

„Really great view. Dock off back porch to the lake. Host was very informative before during and after stay. Cabin was cozy. Thank you Danny. There is no closet or drawers for clothes, but since it was just the 2 of us we used the extra bed to lay out our clothes. Everything was clean. Had the plenty of kitchen supplies. Fishing was less than desired. “

„We had a great time at the bass cabin! It was perfect for us. It's very private and has a beautiful view from the front porch. The off leash laws in the area are apparent as we received 3 visitors (dogs) during our stay, which we didn't mind. “

"Entgegen jeder Erwartung haben wir in Dalton ein sehr schönes aber etwas kleineres Hotel gefunden. Es ist praktisch neu und in sehr gutem Zustand. Scheint nicht zu einer Kette zu gehören, wahrscheinlich deshalb in top Zustand. Das Hotel würde ich in der Gegend auf jeden Fall wieder wählen."
