The only reason for not giving a 5/5 rating is that parking near the apartment is very difficult, and the closest pay parking garage is about a 10 minute walk up hill to get to the apartment (not fun when toting luggage at the end of a long day).“

The marina district with its many shops and restaurants is a short walk. There is a grocery store in the same block, right next door, but there is a MUCH nicer store (the Despar) a very short walk away. It’s worth going there for your shopping, believe me.
