„Rose Cottage was perfect and a delightful place to stay with dogs. The house had everything we needed and was so organized and welcoming that we were quick to feel at home. Jessie was so kind when we met. The fire pit and axe throwing down by the creek was so refreshing and the dogs were wild about running about in the huge fenced in section of the yard. We also enjoyed the deck. We're eager to come back when visiting our family and hometown again soon. “

„It is an amazing little house on a beautiful property! I say "little," but my family of five were extremely comfortable. Jill made sure we were welcomed in good southern fashion, too! The only thing we REALLY didn't like about the property was that our trip was so short and busy we didn't get to stay as much as we'd have liked! If you can make the one bathroom work (and we did just fine), and want a true getaway, we would highly recommend making this hidden gem!“

„Such a sweet little place with great access to the town! Since a good portion of the Virginia Creeper Trail is closed right now we used the house as a jumping off point to a day of hiking near Boone and another day of exploring Cherokee National Forest. The fenced in backyard was great for our dog. We ate out for all meals because there were so many great options and didn’t use the kitchen much but it looked to be well appointed. WiFi was strong and the TVs were great. “

„This cabin/cottage is lovely! It had everything we needed and was super cozy. The layout is great (room to spread out) and the decor is warm and inviting. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking - and the coffee bar was great.Cyclist note: entire neighborhood is paved, driveway fits two cars or a car and a trailer. The neighborhood road, straight off the parkway, is winding. A good place to land. “

„Came up for a few days for some recreational activities at Lake Moomaw. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It felt like home with all the amenities. The nearby creek and the fenced in back yard was a plus. The king size bed was absolutely WONDERFUL. The best nights of sleep I've had in years lol. The host was amazing! She gave us suggestions for food and attractions to visit. She told us to call anytime for anything. She was so very sweet and friendly. A jewel she is.  ...
