„We so enjoyed our stay at the Captain’s Quarters!!! Such a lovely place! Very clean and had everything we needed and more! The king bed was extremely comfortable and decor was perfectly appointed. The view was breathtaking!!! We so enjoyed the deck and the trail down to the beach. The Spruce Cape Trail head is right next to the house. We enjoyed hiking it several times and walking the beach below, collecting some rocks and driftwood. We had a hard time leaving today - What special memories this ...

„We truly enjoyed our stay at the Catch. Stephen is a terrific host and a really nice guy. Both the views from the house and location are fantastic to see and fully immerse yourself in the beauty of Kodiak Island. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that it was difficult for me to figure out how to unlock the door after entering the code. Thankfully i had someone in my group who could and Kodiak is safe enough that we left the door unlocked most of the time we were there “

„Loved this beautiful home! An open layout and tasteful decorations made this stay very enjoyable. The cozy leather chair was a favorite to relax in and the king size bed was quite comfortable. We found everything we needed there for our week long stay in this clean house. Location was perfect, right off the main road! „Perfect room, great view, comfy bed. It is down a full flight of stairs. A parking space is provided. Also coffee maker in room, microwave and fridge. Nice TV. Lots of closet space. The tub is a claw foot high sided tub. If you are mobility impaired, it could be difficult. I had a great 5 days here at the Mermaid Lair. “

„We stayed at the Chalet by the Sea with my family. This is a large house over looking a beautiful protected lagoon. We were unable to enjoy the outside features because of rain, but could see wildlife in the lagoon from inside the house. I wish we could have stayed longer. It is a beautiful place to stay.“

„The house was very nicely finished and the location was amazing! Our host was very accommodating when we got in a bind with a cancelled flight. We were in Kodiak on business so we didn't have much time to explore but would love to come back and stay here again and take a fishing trip and sightseeing tour with Rick and Hope!“
