Goofy weather (spring in Texas) kept the fish away but the kayaks definitely made up for it. Nice and quiet, but not secluded, so hopping over to Jefferson or the refuge was a short, easy drive.One big bed and a pullout couch was perfect for the three of us, and as others have noted, the huge screened in porch was fantastic. Stars were magical ! The only thing not great were the bed and pillows. They were not very comfy. Sarah was quick to respond to any questions we had and if we are in the area again, this place will be first on our list.“
