„We had a great stay at this property. It was very conveniently located near Gunstock Ski Resort. The hot tub was perfect after a long day skiing and tubing. The home was clean and well-furnished.“

„While the weather turned a bit cold and windy. It was a great stay to unwind from a tough year. The fireplace was fantastic and so were the restaurant recommendations by the owner. Would definitely like to enjoy the property when it's warmer out to enjoy the outdoors more.“

„It was a nice and clean house but the internet went out on our third day and wasn’t fixed and one of the sliding glass doors we couldn’t lock because the deadbolt was completely missing so we had to jam the door so we’d feel it was safer and the neighbors are way closer then we thought they would be other than those things we enjoyed our stay “

„It was nice to be within walking distance of the gorgeous span of Atlantic ocean beach. The house was in a great location. Beds were grsar, we all slept well. The bathroom was kind of gross and outdated (esp the shower), furniture appeared to be curb finds. For the nightly price i expected a bit nicer accomodations. Overall though host was fantastic, location was great, too. We were there for just a night stopover before flying out the next morning“

„Super Outdoor und Indoor Bereich zum Entspannen und einfach den Tag zu genießen. Mit allen Wellness Möglichkeiten. Sauna haben wir leider nicht ausprobiert, da das Wetter super schön und sonnig war😎 War es n toller Aufenthakt für uns!“

„The property was great! Very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals and just relax. Lake was nice but it was a little chilly over the weekend. The hosts left some muffins, cookies, fruit and some beverages which was we though was a nice touch.“

„Our family of three adults, one teenager, one 9-year-old, and a dog, spent a fabulous week at this lovely home. So much to do at the pristine, quiet lake. We loved the variety of small craft to choose from, and were delighted to watch our dog learn to swim. We grandparents are in our early 70s, and had no problem navigating the short path to the lake, or to walk into the water at the shallow sandy shore. „Staying at the Tobias Lear House in Portsmouth was definitely a 'bucket list' opportunity for my wife and me. We have visited Portsmouth many times, always staying in the downtown area and taking our leisurely strolls through the South Mill Pond area. Well, a few years ago after visiting the Wentworth Museum, we learned the Tobias Lear House can be rented for overnight stays, and we couldn't pass up this opportunity. It did NOT disappoint! „The house was great. Very roomy, and very comfortable. My daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter live a mile away, so my brother, sister-in-law, and niece came for Christmas. It was a great location, and a very comfortable well appointed home. “

"Die Einrichtung und ich meine Einrichtung ist in jeder Beziehung spartanisch. Das einzige positive war, dass das Zimmer sauber war und die Klimaanlage gut und leise funktioniert hat. Das Frühstück war eine Frechheit eine Kaffeemaschine ein paar trockene Muffins Tüten mit oat Milch und Besteck gab's nicht. Ich empfehle hotel.com das Hotel aus dem Programm zu nehmen oder mindestens Frühstück inklusive zu streichen. Es spricht nicht für hotel.com wenn so freche falsche Angaben unterstützt werden. Als Kunde verlasse ich mich darauf, das alle Angaben korrekt sind."

"Das Hotel ist empfehlenswert, die Lage zum Städtchen ist gut, man kann wirklich alles gut zu Fuß machen. Das Valet-Parking mussten wir nicht nutzen, da direkt vor dem Hotel ein Parkplatz auf der Straße frei war. Das kostet ungefähr die Hälfte. Was wir nicht gut fanden, ist das Frühstück. Es ist alles in Plastik eingepackt und es gibt Plastik-Einwegbesteck und Pappteller, damit das Hotel Kosten für Spülpersonal spart."
