The most stunning setting, overlooking the sea and the fairly private beach (there are only a handful of hotels that have access to this beach, so there are no local sellers or other tourists). „Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt im Hikka Tranz. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Die Lage ebenso super. Direkt vorm Hotel viele Restaurants und auch ein Supermarkt in unmittelbarer Nähe. Beim Frühstücksbüffet gibt es eine große Auswahl von Pancakes bis Currys. Jeder wird etwas finden was einem schmeckt. Der einzige Kritikpunkt wäre, dass am Strand viele versuchen einem etwas zu verkaufen. Sei es Schnorcheln oder eine Tour in die Heilige Stadt Kandy. Man muss mehrfach dankend ablehnen bis sie ...

„We had an absolute amazing vavation at this beautiful place. The staff is extraordinairy nice and the facilities are awesome. Great variety of restaurants and bars. I especially enjoyed the huge breakfast buffet with an excellent service. Our suite with our own pool on the balcony was absolutely beautiful. There is a Supermarket opposite the hotel and Galle is reachable in 5 mins by TukTuk. Thank you for this unique and magical experience, we will definately come back!“

„Einfach perfekt. Ich habe insgrsamt bereits 3 Monate in Sri Lanka verbracht (mehrere Aufenthalte) und das Marriott in Weligama ist herausragend! Besonders gut hat uns das Frühstücksbuffet gefallen :-D Der Strand ist in Mirissa etwas schöner weil kleiner, aber Weligama ist ruhiger und man kommt jederzeit für 2 Euro in 5-10 Minuten von Weligama nach Mirissa.“

„The Bartizan is a really nice hotel with a great view over the ocean. I had the tower room which was small and gorgeous. However, it was not perfectly clean (the fan was super dusty, my bedsheets did not smell very fresh), plus the water pressure in the shower was super low and the water cold. Breakfast was really good and was served in the courtyard - or on the terrace upon request (only advisable in early morning hours, otherwise it will be too hot).“

„Hotel hat die besten Tage hinter sich! Leider wird hier kein Wert auf die Instandhaltung der Anlage gelegt. Das Essen im Hauptrestaurant war ok (kleines selbstbedienungs Buffet) aber kein Vergleich zum sonst sehr guten Essen in Sri Lanka. Wir verbrachten eine Nacht dort und waren froh, als wir diesen Ort wieder verlassen durften. “
