„Having enjoyed the stay at this very special Hilton. Nice atmosphere, great architecture, nice bar and spa area. Restaurant service at breakfast is struggling when it comes to peak times and could be more friendly. Dinner buffet/menu for 25 GBP p.P. is too expensive as quality and variety of food is below average as well as service level - having a coupon to get a "free drink" with self service reminds me of a canteen - not a Hilton.“

„Wifi hat nicht funktioniert (musste mein Zimmer wechseln, um eine vernünftige Verbindung zu bekommen). Zimmer war kalt (es gab einen Heizungskörper, der nicht so heiß war UND wo ein Schrank davor stand!). Frühstück nur bis 08h30. Alles habe ich vor Ort angesprochen.“

„Super friendly and helpful staff more than make up for any shortcomings at this place. Personally I found the wonkiness of the building rather endearing and there was plenty of free parking. No food at the hotel but a selection of options delivered through Deliveroo and other apps and cutlery and plates provided in each room. Decor is a bit dated but there are hot showers and beds are comfortable.“

„Das Hotel hat dringend eine Renovation nötig. Das Zimmer war noch am besten in Schuss. Der Poolbereich war nicht so sauber bzw. Sehr in die Jahre gekommen (die Decke blätterte ab). Auch das Restaurant war renovationsbedürftig. Die Teller und das Besteck beim Morgenessen war nie ganz sauber. Zum übernachten ganz ok, aber definitiv nicht top. “

„This was our third time staying at Mackworth House Farm and, as ever, Peter was the perfect host. The room was clean, tidy and spacious with a beautiful view of the garden. Check-in process was quick, and Peter was on hand to answer any questions we had. The breakfast options were plentiful, and there was a lovely pub a short distance away for evening meals/drinks. Can highly recommend for those wanting to stay in and around the Peak District.“

„The pictures on Expedia doesn't do the place justice. Its a little hidden gem. With live entertainment with good food and drinks. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean but basic. Happy to stay there again. “
