I also washed a cockroach down the drain in the shower. Not our typical Hampton Inn experience. Would not choose to stay at this hotel again. The staff were very friendly.“

„This was only a single night stay enroute to another destination. We have stayed here before and decided to stay again. Great staff, good breakfast, great facilities in an historic and charming setting. We will return and stay longer next time.“

„The room was clean but a little dated in the bathroom. Tub had several repairs done, worked fine but not very attractive. All in all very nice location, several places to eat and gentleman at check-in said it will be renovated soon? Hope that doesn’t drive up the prices.“

„We had a wonderful experience at this property. A lovely older home with loads of charm. Located in the town’s historic district, it was easy to walk to a local restaurant for dinner. The owner provided clear and easy to understand instructions. It had everything we needed and would happily stay here again.“

„I do have a dog but the room had a terrible dog smell when I walked in. I did go to the office and asked for a spray. She was very nice but could only find a very small amount in a spray bottle. She did not offer to change my room. I really think the floor in my room was absolutely disgusting. It made my white socks actually dirty to walk on it. The also wouldn’t allow me to eat breakfast because I wasn’t allowed to bring my dog in, but I also wasn’t to leave the dog unattended in my room. ...
