„Always good to stay at Cow Lake. Easy check-in and out. Friendly staff. Cabin could use an update and add a few amenities to the room like shampoo, body wash, and better hand soap for the bathroom, an initial supply of coffee & coffee filters. The General store has everything you need. Bed is comfortable. Wifi and TV was great. Lots of space. Our pups were very comfortable. Nice quiet spot if you are looking for a friendly place to hang out. “

„The Elkwater Lake Lodge is in a great location and generally speaking, a very nice place to stay. In fact, this was our second stay at the Lodge. However, there does seems to be some wear and tear on the property where upgrades are required. Concrete steps are crumbling away, fenced areas needs paint, the pool is out of use right now, as is the restaurant. The sink in our room was backed up and the toilet didn't flush very well, concerns we raised at the front desk when we left. In fairness, ...

The host was absolutely lovely, welcoming, and made me feel right at home. Her cooking was delicious and added such a personal touch to the experience. „Absentee owners. Window had a crack in it already when we rented and it broke at no fault of our own. They kicked us out with still 2 days left on our reservation then stole $500 of my credit card. Do not go there. It is a dive hotel“
