The owner gave us a quick solution but the toilet didnt work properly the whole time we had to keep tapping the top of the box just to get it to quit running. „Property was well maintained, and all was in working order.All three of us were comfortable, and I cannot express how happy we were with the sitting area by the water. We had lovely firepit fires, and the youngest of us spent many hours fishing. We were all struck by the sense of solitude, and never heard another human voice. Cooking stir-fry on the grill was certainly a highlight.A good time was had by all!“

„This cabin was the perfect escape for my family. We enjoyed fishing, hiking, and sitting on the pirch swing listening the the river flowing and the bird singing. It was so peaceful! Definitely way away from any town so I was glad we took advice and brought groceries with us. We had everything we need to cook at the cabin and enjoy family time.“

„The cabin was exactly as we'd pictured it -- plenty of room for three adults and an easy walk or drive to trailheads on the Appalachian Trail. The hike from the cabin up to the AT and then to Preacher Rock was delightful (about 10 miles round trip). We appreciated the kitchen, heaters, and washing machine -- and the view of the sunset through the trees from the sun room! We heard many bird species while we were there, which was a real treat.
