„Super gemütliche und ausgefallene urwüchsige Unterkunft, die passend zum Thema eingerichtet war. Alles war sehr sauber (auch die Gemeinschaftsräume, wie die Küche). Wer was ausgefallenes sucht, dem ist dies zu empfehlen. Für den Weg dorthin, ist ein 4-Wheel-Drive-Car mit ein wenig Bodenfreiheit nicht schlecht.“

„The Saloon was so cool to stay in! The front porch was great to sit on and the back had a gorgeous view. It was not convenient to get food (or anything else for that matter) but this was made clear ahead of time so we went prepared. The road was flooded out when we got there but this was also a warning ahead of time and we had a truck so had no issues. We'd go back for sure. This was our favorite place to stay out of an 8 hotel trip.“

„Absolutely loved the setting. It’s off the main road in the mountains, absolutely stunning views and perfect starry night sky. The room (post office) was spacious with a king bed, fridge and microwave, very clean and appointed in the Texas style. Access to the fully stocked cantina was a huge bonus.“

„It’s a dark sky National Park, so there’s very little lights and we could not find the RV park but the owners directed us and sat out by the road with their vehicle lights on so we could find them! They went above and beyond!! Highly recommend. “
