„Our small family, including our dog, spent the New Year in the house. It is lovingly decorated and equipped with everything to make it cozy. We particularly enjoyed the abundance of board games. Lorraine, our host, was very friendly and made sure we lacked nothing. We especially indulged in the world's best brownies. The surroundings are ideal for visiting the most famous spots (Rubha Hunish, Quiraing, Man of Storr, etc.). All in all, a perfect stay!“

„If only the owners would listen to the customer feedback from previous guests! All the same niggling issues stop this from getting g a 5 star rating. Dirty pots and pans, a central heating system that needed to be rebooted constantly, poor level of cleaning generally, all have been commented on by previous guests!“

„We loved our stay at Ridge Edge Cottage! The neighbors (and their dog) were wonderful and it was so fun to live among the locals for a few nights. You have everything you need here including a washing machine (no dryer). The dishes were not all clean in the cabinet but that was an easy fix with the dish soap provided. It is quite far from Portree (45-60 minutes) but well worth the drive. “

„Es war äußerst schwierig das Objekt zu finden, keine Hinweisschilder wie beschrieben, außerdem entspricht die Abbildung gar nicht dem Objekt ( Es ist ein großes Mehrfamilienhaus). Das Gebäude ist sehr hellhörig, wir haben von den Gästen der oberen Wohnung jeden Schritt gehört. Leider gibt es einen großen Sanierungsstau, einige Dinge funktionieren leider nicht. Der Vorteil des Objektes liegt in großzügigen Räumlichkeiten, es befindet sich sehr nahe der wunderbaren Insel Skye, auch andere ...

„Unsere herzliche Gastgeberin war äußerst hilfsbereit und freundlich. Für unsere Ankunft war alles vorbereitet. Es waren sogar Milch, Tee und Kekse bereitgestellt. Außerdem bekamen wir sogar Proben für Whisky und Gin zum kosten. Das Haus war sauber, geschmackvoll und mit vielen kleinen Details gemütlich eingerichtet, so dass wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt haben. „Objekt und Lage wie in Anzeige beschrieben, Sehr schön, super ausgestattet, hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Sehr gute Idee mit dem Feldstecher in der Küche und dem Vogelbestimmungsbuch. Eine schöne Beschäftigung bei Ebbe. Den Ofen haben wir mit dem vorhandenen Holz nicht angefeuert bekommen. Wegen der Heizung war es aber trotzdem warm. Übergabe war ohne persönlichen Kontakt, was wir schade fanden.“

„My girlfriend and me really enjoyed the stay! Our house was very clean and well equipped. The nature around is amazing, the view outside of any window is stunning and the 15 minute drive (when I knew the road better, first drive was rainy, foggy and 25 minutes) on the road to Kylerhea is an adventure in itself. „We enjoyed everything. The way to the cottage was a real advanture and a lot of fun, driving on a single road track. The arrival then was stunning. The cottage is just lovely. Very clean, everything works perfectly, the view is amazing and most important everything gets dry and warm again with the fire place. Tours around the cottage in tocavaig are beautiful. „Absolut entspannend in einer traumhaften Umgebung! Das Haus war liebevoll und mit allem ausgestattet was das Urlauberherz begehrt! Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war unkompliziert und herzlich.
