Portpatrick is a quaint little seaside village which attracts visitors throughout the year and for the energetic it is the start of the Southern Upland Way, one of Scotland’s acclaimed long-distance footpaths. Mull of Galloway is another attraction not to be missed with its lighthouse and grass roofed visitor centre and is Scotland’s most southerly point with amazing views of Ireland, England, Isle of Man and Scotland.
