„Normally I’m not the person who writes reviews. But this hotel really deserves a good review. Its was great staying for me. Great interior design, cozy, clean. Its so close to Galle fort by tuktuk it takes only 230 rupees. Also staff were really really helpful, kind and caring. I had injury on my foot. They were really careful about this. Thank you Roshan and Banuka!“

„We had an absolute amazing vavation at this beautiful place. The staff is extraordinairy nice and the facilities are awesome. Great variety of restaurants and bars. I especially enjoyed the huge breakfast buffet with an excellent service. Our suite with our own pool on the balcony was absolutely beautiful. There is a Supermarket opposite the hotel and Galle is reachable in 5 mins by TukTuk. Thank you for this unique and magical experience, we will definately come back!“

„This hotel is a big con / rip off. THERE IS NO ROAD TO THIS PROPERTY. Must cross the jungle for 1/2 kilometers Don’t pick unless u have a Motorcross bike. Once I was there I can not find transportation out there go anywhere. Hotel care taker said he will drive me with hotel tuk tuk but he is rarely available. I picked the more expensive room out of the two options, but when I checked in I was given room with no AC, they said AC room will b available the night after. The day after when I was ...

„Courteous staff, a quiet, comfortable room and super catering in a superbly fitted out property made this a fantastic stay! Okay, so someone had stolen the TV (joking; there isn’t one in the room, but there is fast, free wifi), but if you want to be in the centre of the Galle Fort action, I reckon few properties can beat this one!“

„The Bartizan is a really nice hotel with a great view over the ocean. I had the tower room which was small and gorgeous. However, it was not perfectly clean (the fan was super dusty, my bedsheets did not smell very fresh), plus the water pressure in the shower was super low and the water cold. Breakfast was really good and was served in the courtyard - or on the terrace upon request (only advisable in early morning hours, otherwise it will be too hot).“

„Sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, herrvorragendes Personal! Super Frühstück. Nachteile: Unser Zimmer war das erste im oberen Stock. Es war leider sehr laut, da das Personal früh anfängt, das Frühstück vorzubereiten. Das Hotel hat keine Alkohollizenz. Man kann zwar selber mitbringen, aber an diesem Ort und mit diesem Preis wäre ein Welcomedrink angemessen.“

„Nettes Hotel, was einen guten Job in dieser Covid-Zeit macht. Essen und Getränke auf europäischen Niveau, leider auch die Preise. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die freundlichen Mitarbeiter. Lasitha Sandaruwan mein Housekeeper war unaufdringlich, hatte aber alles im Blick. Perfekt“

„Galle war ein Zwischenstopp für eine Nacht auf dem Weg von der Südküste Richtung Colombo. Zur Erkundung des Forts inklusive Rundgang auf den Festungsmauern ist diese Zeit absolut ausreichend. “
