„We spent four wonderful nights here and were absolutely delighted. The room, although on the smaller side, was absolutely beautiful and equipped with everything we could possibly need. It was decorated with so much taste! Parking was a breeze, as it’s incredibly easy to park right at the front door—a huge plus for this area. A couple of small things to note: the room was extremely warm, which was surprising for late April. I can’t imagine how hot it might get during an intense summer day! ...

„I liked everything, from the delicious breakfasts, to the quaintness and lovely private patio in the back. It is right in the middle of everything going on in Stow; yet you can have a relaxed glass of wine in the back and get away from it all. And the staff are friendly and genuinely interested in you enjoying your stay!“

„Die Unterkunft liegt zentral in Stow on the Wold und hat neben dem Pub noch ein Gästehaus namens "Stuart House", in welchem wir untergebracht waren. Leider ist dieses relativ schwierig zu finden, da es keine Adresse gibt. Das Häuschen ist sehr alt und die Decken somit sehr niedrig, der Boden und die Wände schief und das Treppenhaus wirklich schmal. Für uns war das kein Problem, aber vorab vielleicht gut zu wissen. “

„Clean (small) room, there was a noise from outside during the day, but fortunately not during the night. Bed and shower were also good. Very good breakfast, you can choose from the menu at the pub. Super quality. We had twice dinner at the pub, Pizza and burgers were both very good.“

„Wenn man alte, englische Häuser mag, stimmt im Porch House alles. Es ist jedoch nicht behindertengerecht, da es viele steile Stufen und Absätze hat. Sehr gutes Essen, freundliches Personal, zentral gelegen in Stow-on-the-Wold“

„Our room was lovely and comfortable. We were in the back of the building just off the garden (Brontë room) It was quiet and peaceful and a great place to relax after exploring the nearby towns and villages. Go early as the villages get crowded quickly and parking can be limited depending on the village. The only issue we had was breakfast was included with our stay but had difficulty finding it. It was located offsite a few minutes walk but I was only able to find this after googling other ...

„Awesome location to enjoy all the cute towns around the Cotswold. Very quiet location in one of the less crowded, but still very quaint, towns.“

„Sehr schönes, liebevoll mit vielen Details eingerichtetes Zimmer in altem Haus mit viel Charme“

„Sweet historic little cottage with precious garden, modern kitchen and comfy bed. Stairs are very narrow if you have mobility issues. Bring a sleeping mask as one room is very bright in the morning, due to skylights that make the room cheerful. Had trouble finding it because google map is incorrect. It is located on a very very narrow alleyway and the ivy covered fence has no signage on the outside! You open the green gate in the midst of the ivy covered fence! Lovely spot. Hope to return soon!“
