„We visit the Acadia area frequently to see family and generally stay closer to Bar Harbor. We decided to stay a bit further away in Stonington and this home did not disappoint! The unit is perched directly over the harbor, providing stunning views of the ocean, sun and the active fishing community. The interior is beautifully updated and comfortable for our family of 4 and small dog. Stonington is off the beaten path but a nice respite from the crowds of Bar Harbor. „My wife and I spent a week here with our 10 and 13 yo girls and our dog.It was the perfect way to unwind. Exploring the moss-carpeted woods along a rocky coastline with magical coves, a peaceful deck to sit on and read a book, paint or play board games. No TV which was great for conversation and disconnecting from the world for a while.Lovely owners and their dog Daisy were close enough should we need something but still offered real privacy.We’ll be back, thank you! “
