It’s newly-renovated in relaxing country style and all on one floor with double and twin bedrooms (space for up to four guests), a well-equipped kitchen, TV, Wifi and laundry facilities.

The Old Stables is in a great location just 5.7 miles from Alton Towers and 28 min from the Peak District National Park with postcard villages, highly-rated restaurants and pubs close by!

The space

The Old Stables is a charming freshly-renovated property at a Staffordshire farm with free parking for two cars – one of few local places with on-site parking. It’s single level with no stairs. With one double and one twin bedroom there’s space for up to four guests.

5.7 miles from Alton Towers, close to Uttoxeter Racecourse and JCB World and less than half an hour from the Peak District National Park!

The living space is airy open plan with a beamed ceiling, comfortable seating, a dining table, TV and Wifi. The well-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, fridge, oven, hob, microwave, kettle and toaster, a washing machine and a tumble dryer.

Both the calm relaxing bedrooms have ceiling beams and plenty of storage. One has a double bed and the second has two single beds. A cot is provided. The bathroom has a rainfall shower.

Outside you’ll find a table and chairs where you can enjoy a coffee or glass of wine with a view!

The Old Stables is in the hamlet of Overton with popular restaurants and country pubs nearby. The New Broom is a highly-rated carvery pub; the Grosvenor at historic Hales Hall is known for its Sunday roasts and moules & frites.

It’s a great base for walkers and cyclists with public paths, cycle trails, the Staffordshire Way and Peak District National Park within easy reach. You’ll be close to Uttoxeter Racecourse, National Trust sites and the world famous Potteries.
