„A very good little place. Room was clean and tidy and the bed comfortable. The food in the pub downstairs was good and the breakfast very good. Excellent value for money.“

„This was a very old historical building in as good of a shape as it could be. Some uneven floors and a lot of steps to get to your room. It was small and quiet charming. The staff was pleasant and helpful. A bus stop was right out the side. Very pleasant. The bed was nice, no air conditioning, but it was fairly cool when we went in August, 2026. They had a fan. We are from Florida so the low 70's was a joy for us for August.“

„If you are looking for a safe secure location close to all major amenities. This place is ideal very clean and the staff are very friendly indeed, parking right outside so you don't have to walk far to get to your vehicle. Will definitely be booking another stay in the near future.“

„Good food and comfortable room“

„Sehr freundliches Personal, gepflegte Unterkunft, sehr gutes Essen im Pub.“

„The Village Inn was the perfect place for a stopover while travelling further south. Ideally located a short distance from Northallerton. Large car park, restaurant with a really good menu choice and very reasonably priced. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with heating you can control yourself. Powerful shower and very hot water. Breakfast was great, with choices of full English, Vegan, cereals etc. I would highly recommend the Village Inn to everybody looking for somewhere to stay ...

„Staff were amazing 10/10 Food amazing Very accommodating Rooms says soundproof but wasn’t and corridors smell of the food, overall though we had a lovely time and used as a base and we enjoyed the food they served 10/10“
