Lodi Wine Cottage: Private Barrel Sauna + Orchard Stay

Welcome to Lodi Wine Cottage — a private country retreat tucked among cherry trees and vineyards in the heart of Lodi wine country.

This isn’t your typical neighborhood vacation rental. The cottage sits on our family’s rural property, surrounded by orchards, vineyards and open countryside, yet some of Lodi’s best wineries are just minutes down the road.

One of the highlights of the cottage is your own private wine-barrel sauna. Spend the afternoon wine tasting, then come home, pour a glass of wine and unwind in the sauna beneath the country sky.

Mornings here are just as special. Wake up to birdsong, take your coffee onto the front porch and watch the sun come up over the orchard. Depending on the season, you may see cherry blossoms, fruit hanging from the trees, vineyard harvest or the changing colors of the surrounding farmland.

Inside, the cottage is warm, comfortable and easy to settle into. Two bedrooms, king beds and twin bunks make it equally well suited for a couples’ wine weekend, friends traveling together or a family getaway.

Dogs are welcome too. The cottage has a large private fenced yard where they can safely enjoy the outdoors while you relax.

Guests have exclusive access to the cottage, private backyard and barrel sauna. You’re also welcome to enjoy the seasonal fruit growing around the property. When available, pick a few cherries, grapes or oranges and enjoy a little taste of the land during your stay.

And when you're ready to explore, you won't have to go far. Klinker Brick — our personal favorite — is less than a mile away, with Oak Ridge, Mettler Family Vineyards, Harney Lane and dozens of other Lodi wineries within an easy drive.

Come for the wine. Stay for the quiet mornings, orchard sunsets, starry nights and a little taste of country life in the place our family has called home for generations.
