„We have been staying for a week with three adults and two children of 3 and 6 years. The house is located in a small cul de sac, so there is only minimal traffic. The beach and sea are only a short walk of about 2 minutes away; bus stops, restaurants and shops are also within walking distance. „Wir hatten schöne 4 Tage in dem Ferienhaus. Besonders gefiel uns die Einrichtung; wenngleich die Bäder etwas unpraktisch sind. Das kommt hauptsächlich von den sehr kleinen Handwaschbecken und dem WC unter dem Dach in einer beengten Stelle. Hier und da wären kleine Schönheitsreparaturen nötig (Abfluss von Waschbecken war u.a. verstopft und wir mussten es selbst beheben) und es wäre auch schön gewesen die passende Nespressomaschine zu den Kapseln zu haben. Dann hätten wir tatsächlich auch einen ...

„We were so happy with this house. We travel from Australia and usually stay at least a wk in accommodation. It makes such a difference when a property is thoughtfully well equipped. It was especially nice to not have to worry about things like kitchen foil and salt and pepper etc and other basics on arrival. The location is perfect (so convenient for everything) and the property itself really comfortable, contemporary and homely. Great little outdoor space too. It is located on a one way road ...

„Everything was nicely prepared, very clean and with highest standard. It is possible to stop in the yard of the city hall next to the house, to unload/load the car, as there is a backdoor to the kitchen. Parking space was not a problem in the roads around. We had never more than 3 minutes walk. The communication was also perfect and very fast and helpful.“

„The property is perfect. Compact right bang in the middle of beautiful Lewes. All mod cons and even parking for one car! Unheard of in central Lewes. We loved our stay and the house. “

„Luxurious yet comfortable, had pretty much everything you might need for a lovely staycation (could do with a microwave though for warming things up!). Ideally situated for visiting Sussex’s coastal towns and inland City of Chichester and historic town of Arundel. Beach is a pebble beach, and sadly full of seaweed when we visited so we couldn’t get to the water without getting covered in the stuff, but that can’t be helped. Lovely stay overall! “

„It was a delight to hear the wildlife, and nothing else (!), during my stay at The Hideaway. - Quite refreshing. The accommodation has all one needs, but the emphasis has to be towards the “outdoors”, the tranquillity it offers and marvellous views of the countryside. Walks galore on your doorstep, or just find a spot to sit and take it all in. Well worth a visit.“

„Super little property that lacked for nothing . View was gorgeous over the duck pond . Near to Glyndbourn purpose of our visit . The granary barn was well equipped , clean even a sweet seating outside area , heated towel rail ,but very spacious . No hesitation in recommending and returning .“

„Angelika’s Jungle House is beautifully clean, very comfortable, very well equipped and practical. The children loved the huge jungle toy animals and also the games. A great place to stay, highly recommended. “

„My wife and I stayed a couple of nights with our dog, as we were visiting a nearby dog rescue. The room was clean, nicely decorated and well equipped with kettle, tea, coffee, milk, towels and toiletries. Good shower and nice sized bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had an excellent meal at the restaurant. If we ever find ourselves in the area again we will definitely return. “

„It is a beautifully appointed cottage. We appreciated the fine china and, artwork and decor. Plus, generosity of the excellent Nespresso coffee pods and fresh eggs.It was a joy to behold, and we all loved everything.“

„My bridesmaids and I stayed at Badgers Cottage on my wedding eve and they stayed on through the weekend. It was the perfect setting for getting ready on my wedding morning with lots of light and just a comfortable space.The outside area is gorgeous and the whole place is done to a very high standard. „Property looks disappointing on first look at the outside but once inside it is perfect. We had a night away with friends and family eating and playing games. Venue was very comfortable and had everything you could need. It was lovely to have plenty of bedrooms so we could share or be alone. Everyone said the beds were comfy. Very close to the beach for a lovely walk. Would definitely use again. “

"Ich habe (erst nach der Buchung) Rezensionen gelen, die schlecht ausfielen. Ich kann das nicht bestätigen. Das Sandman war ein schöner Abschluss unserer Reise durch Südengland und Cornwall. Wir können das Sandmans in jeder Hinsicht wärmstens empfehlen. Es gibt nichts auszusetzen. Wir werden dieses Hotel bei einem nächsten Aufenthalt sicher wieder buchen."

"Schon die Lobby war beeindruckend gestaltet und auch das Classic Doppelzimmer mit Stadtblick war schön und hatte sogar etwas Meerblick. Es war sehr ruhig gelegen und enthielt alles, was wir brauchten. Die Kleiderstange/ Fächer waren allerdings sehr knapp, aber für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ausreichend. Das Frühstück konnten wir an der Fensterfront mit Meerblick genießen. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten, die Lanes und Restaurants, Pubs (z.B. Lion & Lobster) bzw. Strandbars waren gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Unser Auto konnten wir in der kleinen Tiefgarage abstellen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen."

"Good value for money - the quality is exactly what you’d expect from an airport hotel. Minus the missing option for luggage storage! Never been to a hotel before that doesn’t offer complimentary luggage storage at least for a few hours. Luckily the airport had such a service (for a hefty fee, nevertheless) so crisis averted. Breakfast is basic, no vegetables but at least thoughtful glutenfree corner. Room was clean and comfy. "
