„Stayed here to be close to Silverstone circuit for Moto GP. Did the job, 15 minutes to the circuit. Room clean, bed comfy, hot shower. Communal areas really need cleaning up and decorating. Not a good impression! Glad room was better!“

„Sind um Mitternacht angekommen und früh wieder weg. Sehr freundlicher Herr an der Rezeption. Zimmer sehr laut und heruntergekommen. Nicht mehr als eine Nacht.“

„Check in ging erst über die Bar, wo eine junge Bedienung ziemlich unfreundlich war. Danach Check in okay. Zimmer mit riesigem Wasserschaden im Bad, welcher ins Zimmer sich hineinzog. Die Einfahrt ist schwierig erreichbar. Abendessen war echt ein Problem, weil man vorbestellen muss. Schwierig, wenn man auf der Durchreise ist. Die Bedienung maulte uns an, bis dann eine andere Dame kam und wir zumindest im Barbereich einen Tisch bekamen und was essen konnten. In der Umgebung wäre auch nichts ...

„Just stayed the one night, Wayne was very helpful on arrival. Great to have secure off road parking. The room was well equipped with all you would ever need. I am in the area again soon and will try and book a room here again.“

„We arrived at 17:45 on the Sunday, to find that the kitchen closed at 18:00. We had just walked 14 miles as part of our Grand Union Canal walk for Yorkshire Cancer Research. The staff were very accommodating and we were well fed! The shock was when we received the receipt for the meals and a few beers and a 10% service charge had been added. We were not asked whether we wanted to pay that. Given the circumstances, we would probably have agreed to it, but it would have been nice to be asked. “

„A 1 night stay for work reasons. The pub and food are excellent with a good selection at a reasonable price. My room was comfortable but very cold due to the old leaking sash windows. All in all for the price it's ok for a 1 night stay. “
