„Das Management war gerade dabei Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle in jedem Zimmer zu erneuern, auch die Zimmer wurden auf Vordermann gebracht, Frühstücksraum in freundlichen Farben renoviert. Das Frühstück an sich typisch Amerika, nicht so viel erwarten. Die Lage am Lake schon fast malerisch. Insgesamt kann ich es doch sehr empfehlen, meiner Meinung nach besser als der Durchschnitt “

„What a strange place. Felt kind of shabby and unloved. Front desk unattended on several occasions. Staff slow and sometimes unhelpful. Hallway carpets scuffy. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was very good either. On the plus side, king balcony was large and had a nice lake view. Bed very comfortable and sheets were nice. I guess this is all you can hope for in such a small town? “

„This is a very nice B&B located conveniently to the attractions around Kerr Lake Reservoir . It is owned and operated by a couple from the Netherlands who sprinkle a little Dutch into the breakfast. The house was a pre-civil war Tobacco Plantation home. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable and Martin, our host was very attentive and helpful. I would rate it a very good value“

„Jim and Mona are the best host! They make sure you have what you need and always go above and beyond. The dog park is a great addition and so convenient. We love being able to walk to town and back. The dock has plenty of room to hang out and just relax in the water. It is covered so if you need to get out of the sun you are able too.“

„House is lovely and inviting, just like the pictures. The entrance stairs are a little steep, but manageable. Very spacious, open and comfortable. Great place to spend relaxing. Close access to several state recreation areas for boat ramp. Quaint country store about 3 miles from the house with good food and milk shakes. Will definitely be going back.“

„This is our third or fourth time staying here. Convenient location on bluestone creek. Close to Clarksville and within 15-20 min and shorter of all popular boat ramps. Plenty of boat parking for 4-5 boats. This is a must for a large group, no unhooking. This house has all the amenities one could ask for. All the kitchen utensils, two refrigerators, a grill, and much more! Thanks again Mathew for hosting us. You will see us again.“

„If you read and loved the description of this place, you will, indeed, love this place. It's exactly what's advertised and it has been the perfect getaway for my husband and me twice now. „The house itself was great, well maintained, clean, everything worked. Working gas grill and firewood provided. The Internet service at the house was DSL, very slow. Had a hard time streaming music. The Lake would have some current at times, not all the time. And there was a day with a bit of an oil slick on the water, possibly dam related. „Stayed 5 nights for a wedding at the state park. FANTASTIC house! Perfect hub for orchestrating the wedding of our son. Space galore. Never felt cramped. Multiple hangout places in the house and marvelous screened-in porch were perfect for small groups and the great room easily accommodated drop in visitors. Stunning property and wonderful views. Beautifully appointed and very well kept. Owners were gracious and prompt in communication. HIGHLY recommended😁“
