Well-kept and cozy house with garden

Relax with your family in a small house in the countryside, near Lake Mjøsa. Find peace with a large veranda and well-kept garden, and explore the possibility of cultural experiences and refreshments nearby - in the small village with two cultural centers and a community center.

The house is located just off national road 222, which has moderate traffic. It is walking distance (about 1km) to a grocery store and train station. The station is on the Dovrebanen line, and there are both north- and south-bound departures every hour most of the week.

THE HOUSE
The house has three bedrooms on the 2nd floor (one with a double bed, one with a single bed and desk, and one that is currently equipped with a sofa bed). The sofa bed can accommodate two (preferably children), if you are an adult it is probably most comfortable for one. There is also an extra foam mattress if someone wants to sleep on a flat bed.

On the 1st floor there is a kitchen and living room with a wood-burning stove.

On the 2nd floor there is a bathroom with toilet and large shower cubicle, on the 1st floor there is a toilet.

ACCESS
The entire house is accessible except for storage of private belongings in the basement. The refrigerator in the basement is not to be used.

If you wish to rent just one room for accommodation while the owner(s) also use the house, this can also be done, please contact us for an offer.

AREA
Tangen i Stange is a small village by Lake Mjøsa. The village has a railway station and a shop with a post office (both about 1km from the house). At Tangenodden camping and near Korsegarden there are swimming facilities, and there are nice hiking trails, including up to the old village castle Gjellberget and towards Stange. Just under half an hour's quiet forest walk away is the Tangen welfare association's barbecue hut with a nice view of Tangenvika. It can be freely used by everyone.

Tangen school is about 10 minutes away, and has nice playgrounds.

In addition, Tangen has a rich cultural life, with a range of events at Ingeborg Refling Hagens Fredheim cultural center (nearest neighbor), Børsen cultural center and Tangen community center.

Cleaning fee includes use of bed linen and towels. If you wish to bring your own bed linen and clean after yourself, we can arrange for the fee to be refunded after your stay. Please contact us about this before submitting a reservation, if desired.
