"Former Officer's Club now a big hotel. Nice single room with a large bathroom. I was allowed to take my bicycle to the room, which on a tour is quite practical. Nice breakfast also."

"Das Seven Hotel und sein Personal waren wirklich super!!! Das Zimmer hatte einen fantastischen Meerblick. Alles war sauber. Das Zimmer wurde täglich aufgeräumt und die Handtücher erneuert. Auch die Bar und die Terrasse hat uns gut gefallen. Leider ist die Umgebung des Hotels, insbesondere die Innenstadt von Southend on Sea ziemlich ungepflegt und in die Jahre gekommen. "

"Ruhige Lage, sehr gut ausgeschildert, was leider nicht die Regel ist. Schöne Zimmer. Viel Parkraum nahe an den Zimmern, das Parken wird aber berechnet - nicht sehr kundenfreundlich. Das Frühstück besteht aus einer Tüte mit abgepackten Snacks. Besser auslassen und andernorts frühstücken. An Teebeuteln und Instandkaffee wurde extrem gespart. Davon dürfte es etwas mehr geben, ebenso vom Zucker etc. "

"A small, cozy hotel with a lake, although you couldn't swim in it. Despite the highway, the hotel was quiet. With the window closed you couldn't hear anything, with the window open only noise (lake side). The building and the furnishings were a bit older, which was also partly visible. But it didn't look run-down. A renovation would do the hotel some good. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The cleanliness left something to be desired in some places. I never felt unsafe there, there was plenty of parking and the food was also good."

"It’s a very traditional hotel in a lovely, scenic landscape. It also provides a lot of entertainment for youths. It is within walking distance to the station, the High Street and it’s by the sea with a wonderful park in front of it."

"Zuvorkommende Mitarbeiterinnen, Aufbewahrung Velo war kein Thema, ich konnte es in den Empfangsraum stellen. "

"Sehr angenehmes Hotel, Frühstück super, mit tollem Blick auf den (kleinen) Flughafen. Auch abends in der Bar sitzen und auf den Flughafen schauen ist toll!"
