„Ideal - spectacular were descriptions I received when I asked family what review to give. We recently stayed at Carter House four days mid-September for a family reunion. Eight adults stayed at the house and 10 local family members visited. Large play area in basement was perfect for the children. „We loved our stay and plan on returning in the future for a longer stay so we can experience more. It was about the same cost as a hotel stay, but with more of a home feel and a lot more room. I also enjoyed the view of the lake from our front porch. If I could suggeat one little change, maybe open the gym a little earlier than 9am, but that's all.“

„This was a great experience. Check-in went well. It had plenty of rooms for myself as well as my dad and bridesmaids (some who were married and needed private rooms). Overall we had everything we needed. Although I wasn't there for checkout I was told it went smoothly as well.“

We brought the dogs into town for a pup cup while we enjoyed ice cream, and the pups approved of the wine tasting at Ingleside. The place was very clean and well maintained.
