Since we visited during the low season, we were surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a private villa with a pool, which let us enjoy the place to the fullest. Die Gingerbread Suites liegen genial: direct am Belmont Boardwalk, mit Blick auf die Admiralty Bay. Nach 500m ist man auf der einen Seite direkt in Port Elizabeth, auf der anderen Seite auf dem Weg Richtung Princess Margaret Beach.
Recht großes Zimmer, grosses Bett mit guter Matratze, viele Unterbringungsmöglichkeiten. Bad individuell gestaltet. Eigene Küche mit allem was man braucht. Alles schon ein paar Jahre alt, aber gut gepflegt. Sehr schöne Terrasse mit Blick auf den Hafen.

Das Bequia Plantation Hotel liegt optimal am Ende des Belmont Walkway, am Beginn des Princess Margaret Trails zum gleichnamigenbenachbarten Strand, direkt am Meer. Das Hotel ist auf dem Gelände einer alten Kokosnuss Plantage angelegt. A lovely guesthouse in a quiet neighbourhood. We spent 4 nights here and enjoyed it very much. The location is convenient between the airport and Kingstown, but beware: the small road leading to the guesthouse is partially unpaved! If you plan to rent a car, make sure it can handle rough terrain.
Otherwise everything was great and the host Sharon cooked us a fantastic local stew.

Das Hotel ist nicht mehr das jüngste, aber es hat eine gute Lage, nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal und es ist eigentlich alles da, was man braucht. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung.
