It’s walking distance to the main historic sites, shopping, restaurants, and bars, and even the cruise terminals aren’t that far away. "This is our 5th stay pre cruise at the Doubletree Hilton, all very clean and service very good. Easy check in. Comfortable clean rooms, this time we stayed half board and evening meal was excellent value for money. Breakfast was good. Do think car parking should be free though for guests staying at the hotel overnight."

"My kids live with their mother, which is 2 hours away, my daughter had a dance so we booked this hotel specifically to spend the day with my children because it's advertised as having a pool. It does have a pool, but you have to pay £5 per hour to use it per person AND there's lots of closed off times that you can't use the pool. None of this information is shared on Hotels.com. I would NOT have booked this room had I known that upfront"

"Beds were comfy. Breakfast was amazing. Only trouble was staff forgot to clean the room so we did not have fresh towels and tea/cofee refills after the first night. But when we informed the desk, they immediately sent someone with it. It shows how helpful the staff are and how quickly they corrected this. Amazing hotel and look forward to staying there again"

"Very friendly staffs, the room arrangments are great, bunker bed on top level via ladder was my son's favorite. The dining area is cozy for breakfast or after dinner tea time. Laundry service is absolutely useful prior to cruise.10 min walk to supermarkets and great restaurants. Unfortunately the cooktop and microwaves doesnt work on both of the rooms we stayed at, hopefully they do something about it. "

"We booked one of the suites with the hot tub. While it was a luxurious experience, the bathrooms needed a bit of renovation and care. You could still hear neighbours and staff cleaning rooms next door, which is annoying if you want to have a nap. Lovely surroundings. Main restaurant ok-ish.
